P1 multi-storey conversion works

Work is underway to convert Nepean Hospital’s old helipad (which is now closed) on Level 6 of the P1 multi-storey car park into approximately 100 additional car spaces.

The P1 car park currently provides more than 600 car spaces, including 14 disabled spaces, and pram and senior parking for patients, visitors and staff to Nepean Hospital.

There are temporary access changes to the P1 car park entrance and exits while works to the rooftop are carried out.  

A traffic controller is onsite to assist vehicles and ensure pedestrian safety.

The pedestrian linkway which connects the P1 multi-storey car park on Parker Street to Nepean Hospital is still closed to the public to allow for demolition works.

To help maintain hospital access, an alternative, temporary internal corridor is now open.
