Stage 1

The NSW Government committed $550 million to deliver Stage 1 of the Nepean Redevelopment. 

This included the construction of a new 14-storey tower (Building A) which opened in 2022. A further $26 million was committed to construct the P1 multi-storey car park.

Cardiology services and an additional inpatient floor were included in the Stage 1 tower as part of the NSW Government’s Stage 2 funding fast-track announcement. 

Stage 1 also delivered an expansion and upgrade of the Nepean Cancer Care Centre and a new childcare centre.
