The new Stage 2 building is taking shape with concrete structural works on Level 2 underway.

Preparations are underway for a third level of concrete, with an additional concrete slab for an outdoor courtyard on Level 1 of the new building also complete.

The jumpform which is at the core of the new building has now risen to Level 6.

Works on Barber Avenue are continuing so please continue to pay close attention to traffic signs and allow extra time to get to your private and public hospital appointments.

Across the campus, structural steel works for the new Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) unit are now complete. Roof sheeting and insulation are in progress and external brickwork is set to start soon. Wall frames and high level services are also continuing.

Bulk excavations works have started at the site of the new Total Asset Management (TAM) building which is being constructed next to the new CAMHS unit as the old facility was within the Stage 2 construction zone.
