Construction is continuing in line with COVID-19 mitigation measures that have been implemented across the site to protect the health and safety of workers.

The new link-bridge, which was craned into place recently, connects the hospital to the new multi-storey car park and rooftop helipad.
From Wednesday 13 March, pedestrian and vehicle access to North Block will close. There are now new ways to access North Block, including the Aged Care and Rehabilitation Centre.
On 15 January 2019, the Somerset Street was permanently closed to progress construction of the Nepean Redevelopment Stage 1 hospital tower. Alternative parking options are in place to minimise disruption to patients and staff during this time.

On 1 May 2018, fencing is going up around the Nepean Cancer Care Centre in preparation for an expansion and upgrade of the facility.
From 17 February 2018, new pedestrian changes will be in place around the construction zone of the new car park.
